Beit Tefilah Messianic Congregation - Creve Coeur, MO
M,  Congregations, Festivals of Adonai, Rosh HaShanah - Trumpets, Sukkot - Tabernacles, Yom Kippur, Torah - Beit Tefilah is a Messianic Jewish Synagogue comprised of Jewish and non-Jewish believers in the promised Messiah of Israel-- Yeshua. We live out a biblical, Torah-based Jewish heritage and lifestyle with foundations in the Tanakh and Brit Chadashah. We meet weekly at St. Paul's Evangelical Church located at 9801 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur, MO.

Eitz Chaim Congregation - Dallas, TX
M,  Congregations, Rosh HaShanah - Trumpets, Teaching/Articles, Yom Kippur - Eitz Chaim is a traditionally-minded Messianic Jewish synagogue, who, like tens of thousands of 1st century Jews, recognize Y’shua (Jesus of Nazareth) as the Messiah of Israel. Within the context of Messianic Judaism, we desire to form a warm, friendly, family-centered community, covenantally committed to our people and our G-d. We desire to truly be a community that passionately cares for one another, serves each other, help support one another in times of need, and encourages each other to grow together in the L-rd. We believe in mutual respect and accountability, with the goal of growing more and more into the image of our Messiah

Shiloh Messianic Congregation - Redlands and Crestline, CA
M,  Chanukah - Festival of Lights, Congregations, Dance, Pesach - Passover, Purim, Rosh HaShanah - Trumpets, Shavuot - Pentecost, Shopping, Sukkot - Tabernacles, Teaching/Articles, Torah, Yom Kippur - At Shiloh, we desire to help bring down the wall that has divided Jewish and Gentile believers and to promote the joining of Jew and Gentile together as one new man! (Eph. 2:11–16) We desire to educate God’s people (both Jew and Gentile) concerning the whole of scripture – both the Tanakh (Hebrew/Old Covenant) and the B’rit Hadashah (Jesus, the Messiah). (Hos. 4:6) (Col. 2:9) Shiloh is a place where the Spirit and the Word meet (John 4:23–24). In our meetings as well as our daily lives, we want the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit) to move in life-changing power but in a manner consistent with sound Hebraic (Jewish) understanding of God’s Word!

Hallel Fellowship - Santa Rosa, Calif
M,  Chanukah - Festival of Lights, Congregations, Rosh HaShanah - Trumpets, Sukkot - Tabernacles, Teaching/Articles, Yom Kippur - This is a gathering of people in the Santa Rosa area of Sonoma County, in the north San Francisco Bay area of California, who believe that Yeshua of Natzeret (Jesus of Nazareth) is the Anointed One (Christ or Messiah) of the Creator, the God of Israel from long ago. As a "messianic" fellowship, we seek to learn together about God from His word, the Bible, via the many lessons encapsulated in the first five books of the Bible and explained by the prophets and the Messiah.

Rosh Pinah Congregation - Bath, OH
M,  Broadcasts, Evangelism, Facebook Groups, Learning Hebrew, Music, Pesach - Passover, Rosh HaShanah - Trumpets, Schools / Yeshivas, Shavuot - Pentecost, Sukkot - Tabernacles, Support of Israel, Teaching/Articles, Torah, Worship, Yom Kippur, Youth, Videos - Rosh Pinah seeks to encourage the spiritual growth of believers by teaching both the Torah and Brit Chadasha (New Testament). Rosh Pinah Congregation was started as a home ministry in 1992. We began with the combined goal of introducing the Christian community to the Jewish roots of their faith, as well as teaching the fulfillment of the Mashiach’s (Messiah’s) return to the house of Israel. Today, the ministry is a diverse grouping of both Jews and former Gentiles that have the desire to worship Yeshua, our Mashiach, through observing Jewish biblical tradition and keeping the Shabbat. Over the years, the L-rd has shaped our congregation’s mission and vision; we have been blessed to be able to purchase land so that on November 6, 2004 the construction of our Temple was complete and we moved into our building.

Yom Kippur Journal 5770
J,  Yom Kippur - The Virtual Beit Midrash

Yom Kippur 101
J,  Yom Kippur - The culmination of the Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe) is the fast day of Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement). This is the day at the conclusion of which, according to tradition, God seals the Books of Life and Death for the coming year. The day is devoted to communal repentance for sins committed over the course of the previous year. Because of the nature of Yom Kippur and its associated rituals, it is the most solemn day in the Jewish calendar.

What is Yom Kippur?
J,  Yom Kippur - This is judgment day. Many Jews practice repentance, say prayers, and give charity to obtain God's forgiveness for any sins made in the past year. Yom Kippur is the culmination of a process that began a month earlier, during the Hebrew month of Elal. It follows Rosh Hashanah and the New Year's activities.

Yom Kippur
J,  Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur is the "Day of Atonement" and refers to the annual Jewish observance of fasting, prayer and repentance.

The Day of Atonement
J,  Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur is one of the most widely observed holidays on the Jewish calendar. It marks the highest synagogue attendance rate of any other day in the year. Despite its widespread observance and long hours spent in synagogue, Yom Kippur is a difficult day to understand.

THE PRAYERS OF YOM KIPPUR
J,  Yom Kippur - Kol Nidre On the eve of Yom Kippur while there is still daylight, Jews congregate all across the globe wearing white. They don their tallitot (prayer shawls) and Kol Nidre is chanted with a sense of emotional anticipation and a centuries-old feverishly moving melody.

TORAH READINGS FOR YOM KIPPUR
J,  Yom Kippur - On the morning of Yom Kippur, two Torah Scrolls are removed from the Aron HaKodesh (Holy Ark). The Torah Reading is from Vayikrah (Leviticus) Chapter 16, verse 1-34. This portion discusses the instructions to Moshe and Aharon concerning the procedure for the priestly service on Yom Kippur, which would enable them to achieve atonement for Israel. The portion then details the laws of Yom Kippur. There are six aliyahs (a number used only on Yom Kippur) and a Maftir. When Yom Kippur falls out on Shabbos, there are 7.

AN OVERVIEW OF YOM KIPPUR
J,  Yom Kippur - Rabbi Yochanan Ben Zakkai said concerning a king, "Should he fine me, his penalty is not eternal" for I would be able to earn more money. "Should he imprison me, his imprisonment is not eternal" for he might die and his successor will release me. "Should he kill me, my death is not eternal for he can only affect my body, but my soul returns to G-d." Yet despite this, how great is the fear a person has of law and authority in this world. How much more so should one fear the judgment of the King of Kings, whose verdict is eternal.

How is Yom Kippur Observed?
J,  Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur commemorates the day that G‑d forgave the Jewish people for the sin of the Golden Calf. Forty days after hearing G‑d say at Mount Sinai: "You shall not have the gods of others in My presence; you shall not make for yourself a graven image," the Jews committed the cardinal sin of idolatry. Moses spent nearly three months on top of the mountain pleading with G‑d for forgiveness, and on the tenth of Tishrei it was finally granted: "I have pardoned, as you have requested."

Yom Kippur
J,  Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur is probably the most important holiday of the Jewish year. Many Jews who do not observe any other Jewish custom will refrain from work, fast and/or attend synagogue services on this day. Yom Kippur occurs on the 10th day of Tishri. The holiday is instituted at Leviticus 23:26 et seq.

Yom Kippur
S,  Yom Kippur - Also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for Jews. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. Yom Kippur completes the annual period known in Judaism as the High Holy Days.

Yom Teruah-The Day of Shouting!
M,  Yom Kippur - The Fall Feasts of Yahweh give us, as Messianic Yisrael, a prophetic picture of future events that we may find ourselves participating in very soon. The Feasts of Yahweh are "rehearsals" for future events. We have intermediate fulfillment in Yahshua the Moshiach of all the Feasts (I call these the spiritual fulfillment) but there REMAINS a FULL NATURAL REALITY of fulfillment to come. We must always combine the spiritual WITH the natural to receive the full reality of a prophetic event or shadow.
