Who We Are 
This is us today -

We are Mark & Donna Smith. Just plain and simple folk! Can't get any more plain and simple than Smith, or Mark or Donna for that matter!

We are Godfearing Messianics who love the God of Israel, His people and His Land.

We know that God stands with his people, Israel, and has NOT forsaken us, nor His plans for us in the Land. We stand with all Israel and support the Zionist prophetic vision.

We love His Torah!!

We observe the Sabbath, as they did in Yeshua's time. Worship time is from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, instead of Sunday. We gather with other like-minded believers to learn from the weekly Torah portion and Haftarah portion, PLUS the Talmud, and New Testament too! They are ALL so awesomely connected. Our foundation is in the Torah where all His teachings come from.

We observe the "set-times", the LORD's Festivals, as laid out by God Himself in Leviticus: Passover, Shavuot (Pentecost) and Tabernacles. They are GREAT teachers.

We do not however observe Christmas, nor Easter. Please do not be saddened thinking we do not believe in the birth, death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua and His return ....we do!! They are all a well laid out plan of Redemption in the "set-times", the Festivals!! \0/

We also observe kashrut, Jewish dietary laws, as laid out in Leviticus. These are great teachers too! The LORD would not tell us what to eat or not to eat if He had plans of bondage or harm. No, His plans are plans for GOOD and so all will go well with us if we'd just obey!! He is so good to us!!

Possibly you are thinking, as many who know us do, that we are now "under the Law" and no longer living by Grace...but that's not true. We figure, if you are not under the law - then there are only 2 other choices - above the law or you ARE the law - you decide. Selah!

We do NOT observe the Torah in order to gain righteousness. Nope! We observe because the LORD has called us out of unrighteousness, and shown us His Covenant, the Torah which is holy, just and true. It is Righteouness! We observe because His calling us OUT, has made us righteous, and so we walk the way He says to walk.

In other words, 'we observe because we ARE righteous'. Not, 'we are righteous because we observe'. Big difference!

Righteousness is only GIVEN to us by Him, not earned....Old Testament or New! Never has God's word said, "You must obey all "this and that" and do it perfectly or you can't come to Heaven".

The Law was NEVER meant to be observed in order for people to BECOME righteous. BUT, because He has called, separated, sanctified AND declared righteous those who will by faith, follow and obey Him, He has given BOUNDARIES for us to walk in, and stay within...to LIVE by them. The Laws are for while we are ALIVE, and living NOW. Observing the Torah is not for LATER after you and I die. It's for the HERE and NOW. It takes faith to believe God exists and more faith to obey and live by what He says to live by. Remember, the just live by FAITH! Are we His people or not?

We believe the Law, the Torah, was given to reveal to us, the Jew first and also the non Jew, that we are NOT righteous...that we are sinners, and that only God can forgive sin.

And in case you are wondering who we say Yeshua (Jesus/Salvation) is......we say He is the Son of the Living God! We do believe He came from God and returned to God and that He will return to earth to set-up God's Kingdom, in Israel, and the Government (world government) will be upon His shoulders and He will rule this earth. We believe God has given Him authority to govern the nations.....so, we gladly submit to His authority!

We believe at that time, the Torah will go forth from Jerusalem in that day of His reign, so we are just getting a head start with a His lifestyle! It's not hard! It's easy!

And that's what it all boils down to, lifestyle.

Our lifestyle is based on the Torah, very Jewish in nature. We as non Jews have taken hold of the ancient path, the Torah. We are not the only ones. There are a growing number of us. Possibly you are those peculiar people too.

We are fulfilling Isaiah 52:7 and Zechariah 8:23. We say to Israel, "You're God reigns. Your God is with you...and we want to go WITH you."

Let's just say we are like the non-Hebrews who went with the Hebrews OUT of Egypt. The non Hebrews feared their God, so they left when the Hebrews left with Moses. We're with them today, and because of that, our lifestyle has changed rather dramatically, just as it did for the non Hebrews in Moses day.

And this we make known: If there is EVER a mass exodus of Jews out of the U.S., we will pack our bags and leave with them, for God is with them....and salvation (Yeshua) is from the Jews.

So, who are we? Are we actually Jews? Or are we of the House of Ephraim? Are we the Seed of Abraham?

This we know for certainty, we, Mark and Donna Smith, are Godfearers. Plain and simple.

We hope you enjoy your journey out of Egypt, and into His glorious Light, His Torah, His Law. It is our prayer our directory points you in the direction of the LORD. Embrace His Torah, and be blessed!
