Rodney Bryant’s Biography

Rod Bryant has served as President of the Community Response Task Force since 2004. As principle architect, he and several community leaders, to include the City of Humble Emergency Management Coordinator Clint Johnson, developed the organizational structure for the CRTF.  As a consultant, Rod has assisted several communities across the United States in developing various response programs.

As Emergency Management Coordinator between 2004-2011 with Atascocita Fire Department, he developed a fully functional Emergency Ops Centre and management team from the ground, up. From 1993-2003 Rod served as a Police Officer with the Houston Police Department, a hostage negotiation team tech and criminal investigator, as well as a basic patrolman.  His career started in the United States Army upon completion of graduate coursework in 1987.  In 2004, Rod finished his military duty as a Major and combat veteren of the Gulf War.

Rod's vision is to teach communities and individuals "How not to be Victims, but to survive".  He hosts a weekly talkshow which highlights tips and solutions on emergency preparedness.  Not only does Rod have a wealth of knowledge in this field, but his guests are often experts in these areas as well, many times willing to share their unique insight as well.
