IFMJ believes that it is an entirely different matter in determining the Jewish
character of people who are from known Jewish ancestry. This issue is
particularly relevant for those individuals known as "Marranos." The
"Marranos" are people residing in the territories of the old Spanish
Empire, particularly in Spanish-Portuguese America, who know that they are of
Sephardic ancestry, but do not have the supporting documentation to prove it,
due to their Jewish heritage having been kept in secret.

HaDavar is the place where we gather to encourage one another and to

since those early years. But, our desire to serve Him in truth has not
